Construction readiness

Before installing a pool or terrace enclosure, it is important to ensure proper construction readiness. This includes consulting with the local building authority about the need for a building permit and preparing a stable and level base in accordance with the chosen type and size of enclosure. Proper preparation ensures smooth installation and long-term functionality of the enclosure.

Administrative Instructions

Please consult the local building authority to determine whether a building permit is required for installing the enclosure. Upon request, we can prepare project documentation for submission to the building authority.

Segment Placement Options

The segments of the sliding enclosure can be assembled in various configurations. Each segment can be placed on its own guiding track, or in pairs on a single guiding track. This creates different combinations of fixed and sliding segments. These combinations allow, for example, segments to be slid open from the center to both sides, or—particularly with pool enclosures—to use extended guiding tracks to slide all segments completely beyond the pool. Due to the custom nature of enclosure production, each project must work with specific structural preparations, which are included in the contract for work.

Segment Movement

The enclosure consists of segments that can slide in both directions. Segment movement is usually handled by one person; however, for wider enclosures (from 5 m of internal width), two people should operate the enclosure.

Substrate Characteristics

The surface must be sufficiently stable and reinforced, parallel, and level. It can consist of concrete paving, stone carpet, ceramic tiles, or special tiles made of natural or artificial stone. All of these surfaces must be firmly bonded to a concrete base. The enclosure can also be installed on WPC decking boards or natural wood surfaces, provided they are sufficiently stable, solid, and dimensionally stable.
