WEEE take-back
At Alukov, we place great emphasis on environmental protection. That’s why we have decided to actively contribute to nature conservation by offering a free and simple return option for electrical equipment. Our company, Alukov, is committed to the take-back of electrical devices, thus supporting a circular economy and reducing environmental impact.
Consumers play a key role in the process of handling waste electrical appliances. It is up to them to decide how they will dispose of their old devices. It is important to understand that old electrical equipment does not belong in mixed municipal waste, but should be taken to designated collection points where it can be reused or recycled.
It is essential that consumers are informed that electrical equipment must not be disposed of with regular household waste. All new electrical products are marked with symbols indicating this fact, which may be found directly on the product, its packaging, the user manual, or the warranty card.

Why is recycling important?
Electrical equipment contains a variety of materials suitable for recycling, such as plastics, glass, and metals (zinc, iron, manganese, nickel, cadmium, lead, and others). Some of these substances pose a serious threat to the environment and human health, especially mercury, lead, and cadmium. By recycling these materials, we not only conserve primary raw material sources but also protect our environment from the potential risks of improper handling and subsequent pollution.
If electrical equipment is not disposed of properly, fines may be imposed in accordance with national legislation.
