NASA employee used our enclosure in an unconventional way!

When someone says “pool enclosure,” many imagine relaxing by the water. But the idea of using the enclosure as the roof of a private observatory requires much more imagination—and courage.

This idea was implemented by our major customer, a NASA engineer who, for example, participated in the development of the James Webb Space Telescope in the USA. He has managed to create something truly unique.

Innovative progress and ideas are what drives experts like our customer, and that is what led him to use pool roofing in an unusual context. A sliding structure with a transparent polycarbonate infill to protect the pool became the ideal roof for his private observatory, a place for astronomical observation and for relaxing under the stars.

The customer has succeeded in creating a unique space that combines modern design and functionality. We customized the roofing to meet the specific needs for functioning on the roof of the house. This allows for stargazing, through the ability to open the roofing segments so that the customer can have a direct view of the sky with their instruments. This combination of functionality and aesthetics shows that even pool roofing can take on new forms and uses.
This story is very inspiring and illustrates how our pool roofing takes on a whole new dimension, as well as the projects we take on to make our customers' dreams come true. And that's something we really enjoy and find both gratifying and fulfilling.
And how would you use pool roofing for your own personal projects? Share with us.
